Farm Business Farm Management (FBFM) Farm Financial Assistant

This position provides assistance to FBFM Field staff as they work one-on-one with farm clients in Illinois.  The successful candidate will receive training and experience that will prepare him/her for a possible future position as Field staff with Illinois FBFM.

Open Position:

 
Western Illinois

Position in Western FBFM Association with an office location in Camp Point, IL

Position Responsibilities:

  • Financial analysis preparation
  • Payroll & income tax preparation
  • Data entry & accounting
  • Assisting producers and Fieldstaff with other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture and/or business with agriculture experience/knowledge.
  • Agricultural experience relevant to position responsibilities, which would include a working knowledge of agricultural business processes, issues and terminology.
  • Overtime is expected from November through April as needed to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license, U.S. citizenship and background check.
